He has shuttered himself away in a boarding house in the countryside, refusing even to go outside. When two mysterious figures arrive there, they force unwanted attention onto Stanley by staging a birthday party for him. What begins as a simple celebration quickly descends into a nightmarish ordeal of manipulation and intimidation. Their reason? To bring Stanley back to society. Will he be forced to return to “an honest man’s living,” or can he remain hidden away?
