MPower Voices Holiday Choir Concert

MPower voices is a Missoula-based choir of adult individuals with disabilities. Formed in 1999 by Alayne Dolson and Malcolm Lowe, the choir was originally part of VSA Arts programming. It continues now under the umbrella of Missoula Community Chorus. MPower Voices serves the differently-abled community by offering an opportunity for social engagement and artistic expression. They serve Missoula with musical offerings that surprise and delight with their heartfelt, open manifestations of joy. Stolen Waters Summit – Closing Celebration

Sex Trivia, a Fundraiser for the Western MT LGBTQ+ Center

Wednesday, November 8 // Doors at 6:30 PM // Trivia from 7 to 9 PM // $10-$20 Sliding Scale Tickets // Bar Open for 21+ (Attendees Can Bring Personal Food, but not Beverages) // Ages 18 & Up Bring your friends, grab a drink, and see how much you know about sex! Sex Trivia is coming to Missoula! Hosted by Papaya Project, a Seattle-based non-profit, this fun and educational event is an invitation to test your knowledge on a wide range of sex and sexuality-related topics. Get ready to challenge yourself, learn something new, and have a good time. There will be a raffle at the event and prizes for the winning trivia team! Trivia teams will consist of 4-5 people. You can make your own team or show up and join/create a team on the spot. Folks of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to attend.  Pricing details: The purpose of this event is both to provide a fun space to learn about sex, and to support the LGBTQIA+ community in Montana. A portion of each ticket will be donated to the Western Montana LGBTQ+ Community Center (aka The Center), a Missoula-based non-profit that offers events and free spaces for LGBTQ+ individuals, groups, and communities to host one-time events or ongoing meetings focused on identity development and self-care, empowerment, leadership development, community engagement, and overall wellness. All of the trivia questions will be read aloud and displayed on the screen. At least one member of each team must be able to provide written responses to trivia questions on the paper provided.  Inclusivity: We do our best to make trivia questions inclusive of all bodies and sexualities, but we acknowledge that we will not be able to provide accurate or nuanced representation of every experience.
