ROCK THE HOUSE: A Benefit for the Affordable Housing Trust Fund

Including a Silent Auction, and Featuring Performances by Riley James and Cosmic SansSaturday, November 5 // Door at 7 PM // Show at 7:30 PM // $10 General Admission The Affordable Housing Trust Fund (AHTF) is Missoula’s only local source of funding to meet our community’s ambitious and urgent housing goals. In a time of rampant unaffordability in our local housing market, Affordable Housing Trust Fund investments create and preserve housing solutions Missoulians can afford. ROCK THE HOUSE is a benefit for the AHTF, and will feature music by Riley James and Cosmic Sans, and a silent raffle of works by many local artists who are involved in affordable housing organizing (including Laughing Blackbird, Roger Paul Mason, Winnie Lohof, Kat Cowley, Sam Hilliard, Miles Wickham, Sage Friss, Zoey Osborne, River Bed Gems, Montana Clay Creations, B Martinez, Jace Nelson, & Blaine Doherty). Between sets, grantees who have been awarded Trust Fund monies will be speaking about their projects and sharing what the Trust Fund has helped them accomplish. ‘Listening Hat Records’ Record Cutting Service Launch Party!

Sunday // October 30 // 1-5 PM // Show Room at the ZACC // Free & Open to All Ever wonder how Vinyl Records are made? Come see records being cut live at the ‘Listening Hat Records’ Launch Party. With the help of funding from the Montana Arts Council, local musician Aaron Jennings is starting a record manufacturing service in Missoula with the goal of making short-run handmade vinyl releases accessible and affordable to artists across the state. Over a dozen artists will be performing live to celebrate the occasion, and these performances will be recorded and cut to a record on site. Attendees will be able to pick out their favorite performances and purchase a custom record to take home with them. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the ZACC. Community Grief Gathering / Celebrate Life & Mourn the Loss of Loved Ones in a Shared Space

Thursday, September 22 // Door at 6:30 PM // Event begins at 7 PM // Free & Open to All Come together to shed light, express, and hold space for our collective experience of grief through poetry, music, food, and art. At the ZACC on 9/22 from 7-10 PM, we will gather to mourn the loss of loved ones and celebrate life in a supportive environment. We welcome you to share whatever you’re called to, or simply be there to listen. There will be an open mic, memorial shrine to light candles and place mementos, and potluck where we can share the favorite foods of those we grieve. We are grateful for your donation and support of our organization. If you have made an error in making your donation or change your mind about contributing to our organization please contact us. Refunds are returned using the original method of payment. If you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card.
