Monster + Farmer offers a modern twist on the classic Frankenstein tale on a Montana ranch near the Mission Mountains. Step into the world of Riley, a teenage science whiz living on a Montana ranch near the Mission Mountains. When she picks up a copy of Mary Shelley’s “Frankenstein,” Riley is inspired to craft a DIY creature of her own – all chronicled on her YouTube channel! When her creation goes haywire, Riley and her brother Aidan must minimize the chaos (and save the cows!) while all the world watches through their smartphones. MONSTER + FARMER is about creation and connection in an increasingly digital world. The play delves into themes of family dynamics, the anxiety of social media, and the importance of seeking help, all while showcasing an innovative, determined female lead excelling in science and technology. Monster + Farmer is written for middle and high school students but great for all ages! About the Montana Repertory Theatre (Missoula, Mont.) The Montana Repertory Theatre Presents ‘The Odyssey’ Adapted by Briandaniel Oglesby

The Montana Repertory Theatre PresentsTHE ODYSSEYAdapted by Briandaniel Oglesby Friday, September 1 at 7 PM (Door opens at 6:30 PM) / Pick What You PaySaturday, September 2 at 2 PM (Door opens at 1:30 PM) / $20 General Admission, $12 for 18 & underFor tickets visit: https://montanarep.com/ The Montana Repertory Theater is proud to announce its upcoming educational outreach tour of The Odyssey, adapted by Briandaniel Oglesby – beginning with opening performances in Missoula at the Zootown Arts Community Center! This comedic retelling of Homer’s epic poem will tour schools, libraries, and community centers across Montana this fall. The Odyssey follows the journey of Odysseus as he encounters Cyclops, sirens, and more on his 10-year voyage home after the Trojan War. Oglesby’s adaptation condenses this sprawling tale into a fast-paced, slapstick comedy performed by a small ensemble of three actors playing dozens of characters. Through imaginative storytelling and physical comedy, the play captures the poetry and tragedy of the original work while making it accessible to modern audiences. The Odyssey is part of Montana Rep’s educational tour program, which aims to bring live theater to areas of the state with limited access to arts education. The play will tour over 30 schools from Thompson Falls, MT, to Wibaux, MT, reaching thousands of middle and high school students. Each performance includes an interactive component where students can participate directly in the story and take workshops led by The Rep’s tour team. The Odyssey is directed by UM Theatre and Dance Graduate student Jacob Christiansen and features actors Stephen Blotzke, Mena Carrara-Ackerman, and Jensen Hill. Blotzke and Carrarra-Ackerman are alums of UM Theatre and Dance. About the Montana Repertory Theatre (Missoula, Mont.)
