Do you love the ZACC Show Room? Do you love someone who loves the ZACC Show Room? Then come hug it out and join us in making it even better!

Collaborating with over a dozen community partner organizations, the Show Room hosts over 16,000 community members 200+ events a year in the venue space, using equipment that is nearly all either borrowed or actively failing. That’s where we need your help. Join us for HUGME Day (Help Us Get Music Equipment), where all proceeds go to sound, lighting, and other upgrades to the Show Room! The best part? You’re not just helping us, you’re helping everyone and every organization that depends on an accessible venue space for the arts in Missoula. Organizations like Daisy Chain Presents, Drag Wrestling, A Quantum Dream, Misscast Productions and many more local arts organizations use the Show Room and rely on the equipment in the space, so working lights and better audio make an impact far beyond the walls of our building.

So what’s the deal with HUGME Day, you ask?
Well…a heck of a lot!

Come dig through some records provided by Ear Candy and Slant Street Records or test your mettle as part of the wing eating contest sponsored by M80 Chicken. Head into the gallery to check out the music gear swap or, better yet, rent a table and finally ditch that spare amp that’s been collecting dust for another piece of gear (that will totally get used all the time, right?). Check out the back alley to enter the cornhole tournament, venture upstairs to print some of your own band merch, or even enter for a chance to go home with a Custom Shop J-45 donated by the Gibson Guitar plant in Bozeman.

Or, just kick back, buy a beverage from the bar, and enjoy some absolutely rad local music from our friends:

This event is for anyone of all ages, whether you’re here once a week or you just got talked into going to a show here by your friends that one time and it turned out to be pretty cool so you’ve been meaning to check our calendar but you keep getting roped into those evening crocheting collabs with your neighbor Dan even though he just keeps going on about work and never asks how your day was and then he always says ‘I’ll fly, you buy’ when it comes time to order delivery and laughs at his own joke and then still doesn’t respond to your Venmo request later but you bought the food and he kept the leftovers so you swear you’re done hanging with Dan but then he texts you about how nice it is to have someone to talk to since the breakup so you think maybe one more crochet sesh couldn’t hurt even though you already have enough hats or… ya know…something else comes up and you can’t make it to another show.
