In Next Year People, Bess, the matriarch of a family ranch, appears determined to sell the property but she undergoes several setbacks in spite of help offered from her family and a veterinarian friend, a former lover. In the end, she finds her problems reside in an unexpected place. This is a story grounded in Montana’s past and illustrative of how that past lives on.
In this staged reading of this new two-act play by Joan Carol Melcher, actors include Carrie Collier, David Mills-Low, Megan Folsom, Nathan Adkins, Gabe Malek and Nox Fahey. It is directed by Linda Grinde.
There will be a brief intermission.
